CINTIQ

The CINTIQ is here! The CINTIQ is here! Hurray! It's big and lovely and heavy and intimidating! And only the Medium drawing is done with it! The rest are work/bus doodles. That old man is not my favorite drawing in the world but that's more or less what he looked like and he was just about the cutest old man I've ever seen. The way his skin wrinkled around his eyes made him look like he had little sunshine eyelashes. ADORABLE.

Elvira and Mummies!

I love Elvira. She's my favorite. My favorite what? My favorite EVERYTHING. Been trying to cartoon her for years now. This is probably the closest I've gotten to something I like. And like I said... MORE FEZ!

Sun! Warmth!

Despite my deep appreciation for gloom (and my fondness for the word "gloom") I have got ants in the pants for summer to start. SO here is my first outdoor drawing of the year in celebration of it not being too rainy to have a sketchbook outside!

My Goodness! April!

Talking dog work continues. And wacom doodles rise in direct proportion to amount of scenes assigned! ALso some life drawings and sketches of a character for another project that will hopefully go ahead this summer.

PLUS! if I've never mentioned it Stephen Fry is a king among men.
