More quickies with the promise of more later.

Well I haven't been posting much. Reason is for the last few weeks I've been prepping for Frightfest (a bunch of avid haunters get together to put up an impromptu haunted house out in Langley for a campground)

We had hundreds turn up this year. The line went clear back to the entrance to our area for three solid hours. Good times! Photos of the set we build, some of the costumes and props to follow as they become available. Here's a couple starters and a bunch of little sketches from recent doodlequests.

Hey, nice doodles! I particularly like the lady in the red dress and the – is that Nanny Ogg?

Also, reiterating my admiration of the Frightfest stuff ... can't wait to see Ben's photos.

haha... thanks! Well the woman in the red dress is certainly not nanny ogg but I think you are referring to the drawing above her. No it's not Nanny Ogg but it was done while listening to the audiobook of "Carpe Jugulum" so it was vaguely inspired by Nanny Ogg. I have the Paul Kidby Ogg firmly entrenched in my brain now so I can't dislodge it.

Listening to Maskerade at the moment (the one where nanny ogg makes a forture with kinky cookbook), probably my favorite Lancre witch one.

Hope I get chance to see this haunted house first hand for once.

These are some really nice sketches dude. And the skeleton turned out pretty-not-bad too, with Halloween a mere two months away.

What are you going as this year?
