King Death

In a perfect world this is what my Hallowe'en costume would look like. And it would have glowed in the dark and been whispy and ethereal. But I've traded in "whispy and ethereal" for "grim and funerary" Photos when I get some decent ones of the progress but in the meantime here's the original sketch for the concept and a fun goofy cartoon I did of it later. The original sketch is reasonably representative of what I've got so far actually.

I have not been here in a while and am kind of blown away by your recent posts. go you and your awesomeness! Speaking of which - that glowiness is all sorts of rad. How do you go about achieving that? Is that flash or illustrator?

D'aww thanks! Actually it's photoshop. And the glowyness is all thanks to gaussian blur! May the Great Old Ones bless you, Gaussian Blur!

Wow, really? I didn't know Photoshop had this capability. Now I'm all inspired to do something glow-y.

Eerily similar to a design I did a couple years ago. We must have tuned into the same cosmic radio station.

Lovely work, I particularly love the choice of colors and shape.
